Classic SME based role involving a mix of accounting and general office management duties (c60-40), working for the entrepreneurial MD of this well established small manufacturing and service sector client. The business operates several divisions with a total turnover in the range of £1.5 to £3m PA.
You will run the full function of accounts on the Xero system, AP, AR, Banking, VAT, Cashbooks, Payroll and query handling. There will also be close liaison with the external accountants for the monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounting.
You will enjoy being organised and adding value to the running of the office and able to turn your hand to ad hoc projects and production of KPI management info as required by the MD.
The company trades internationally and dealing with foreign exchange issues (largely USD and Euro) will be a key aspect of the role.
