FC / FD Designate (Divisional) – Newbury & Portsmouth – £MarketRate Competitive

Commercial divisional FC role for a large listed technology company looking after a fast growing c£80m TO business.

This role will be split between Newbury and Portsmouth with occasional travel to London and Manchester, so someone living in the Winchester area would be ideal.

Reporting to the UK FD this role will suit a commercially focused qualified accountant with both strong academics and a demonstrably progressive career to date. You may have qualified in either the Top 6 and had several years post qualifying commercial experience or have had a career 100% in commerce, adding value to commercial operations. Experience of the B2C or B2B technology markets with scale would be helpful.

The role has a team of qualifieds reporting in and this division has a strong business partnering role to play with operations and major clients. Working to maximize profit, minimise risk and steer the sales team on both strategic and immediate objectives is a key part of this role.

Ideally you will be skilled at looking at client contracts and assessing risk across tax, regulatory, commercial and on a cashflow basis.

You will be part of the senior management team and help build, manage and execute a rolling 5 year plan for this division.

Some experience of FP&A would be very beneficial when it comes to looking at commercial opportunities with enterprise size clients, both existing and new.
